Our Story
CeylonExplora was founded in 2025, but the story starts earlier. Before starting the company, our team spent more than five years driving, guiding and planning trips across Sri Lanka for international travellers, learning the roads, the seasons and the places most tours drive straight past.
We are based in Kandy, in the centre of the island, which is exactly where a tour operator should be: within a day's reach of the Cultural Triangle, the tea country, the wildlife parks and both coasts. When you write to us, the person who replies has driven the route you are asking about.
Booking with us is straightforward and professional. You tell us your dates and interests, we design a private itinerary with a clear quote, and payment is settled directly with our operations team once your plan is confirmed. No prepayment forms, no third-party call centres, no generic fixed-departure buses.
