Yes. Building your route and downloading it as a PDF costs nothing, and we never ask for payment details during planning. A vehicle, hotels or a specialist to refine your plan are optional add-ons, quoted after you submit.

How does the free PDF work?

After you complete the planner and submit your trip, download your day-by-day plan as a PDF straight away: your full route, stops and any hotel or vehicle notes you added. It also arrives by email, so you can close the tab without losing it.

Do I need to book anything through CeylonExplora?

Accepted Answer

No. The planner works on its own: build your route, download the PDF, and arrange your own hotels and transport if you prefer. Booking a vehicle, hotels or a full trip design through us is an optional step, not a requirement.

Can your team refine the route for me?

Yes. Choose the full trip design option during planning and our team reviews your route, adjusts the pacing, and works with you on hotel and vehicle choices before you travel.

How accurate are the drive times?

Accepted Answer

Drive times are calculated from the real distances between the places in your route: recorded transfer times for longer journeys between regions, and a distance-based estimate for shorter hops nearby. Traffic, weather and stops along the way can change the actual time, so treat the figure as a planning guide.

Can I plan a trip without booking hotels or a vehicle?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Hotels and a vehicle are both optional in the planner. Skip either step and track your own arrangements, or note a hotel you already booked yourself. Your day-by-day route builds the same way either way.

What happens after I submit my plan?

Accepted Answer

A travel specialist reviews your trip and replies by email, usually within 24 hours, with pricing for anything you asked us to arrange. If you leave the planner partway through, your progress saves in your browser, so you can come back and resume from the same page.
