Suzuki Every

The Suzuki Every is a Japanese kei-class microvan imported to Sri Lanka as a used vehicle and available for hire in several tourist areas. The 660 cc turbocharged engine is sized for town use, not highway runs. It seats 4 to 5 passengers in a compact cabin and offers a small internal cargo area behind the rear seats for bags.

In practice, the Every works well for short transfers within and between nearby beach towns — Mirissa to Weligama, Unawatuna to Galle Fort, Hikkaduwa to Bentota — where price is the priority and distances are short. Some hire operators in Ella and Arugam Bay use it for town access runs and local errand trips.

It is not the right vehicle for long-distance touring. At expressway speeds the engine is strained and cabin noise rises considerably. Luggage is limited to soft bags tucked inside; there is no separate boot. If you need to cover multiple cities in a day or carry standard suitcases, step up to an Axio or Fit Shuttle. The Every earns its place as the most affordable wheels available when the journey is short and the budget is tight.
