Circuit Sri Lanka en 10 jours : Circuit des temples et du patrimoine
Le Sri Lanka sacré en dix jours : les grands stupas d'Anuradhapura, Mihintale au crépuscule, les grottes de Dambulla, et deux jours de temples à Kandy.Ce circuit suit les temples du Triangle culturel du Sri Lanka dans l'ordre où l'histoire les a bâtis, avant deux jours de temples à Kandy et une fin de séjour à Colombo. Deux nuits à Anuradhapura permettent de voir la cité sacrée à l'aube et Mihintale, où le bouddhisme est arrivé en 247 avant notre ère, au coucher du soleil. Viennent ensuite la forteresse de Sigiriya et les sanctuaires troglodytiques de Dambulla, puis deux jours à Kandy autour du temple de la Dent sacrée. Colombo referme le circuit avec le temple de Gangaramaya et les rues du marché de Pettah. Negombo
Jour 1 : L'atterrissage est suivi d'un court transfert vers Negombo, une ville de pêcheurs proche de l'aéroport. La soirée se passe du côté de la lagune et de l'église Saint-Mary, connue pour son plafond richement peint.

Anuradhapura
Jour 2 : Anuradhapura est à environ 3 heures 30 minutes via Chilaw et Puttalam, en passant devant l'embranchement vers Kalpitiya, une ville lagunaire connue pour le kitesurf et l'observation des dauphins. L'après-midi couvre le Ruwanwelisaya, un stupa blanc en forme de cloche construit au 2e siècle avant notre ère, et le figuier Sri Maha Bodhi.

Sigiriya
Jour 4 : La route vers Sigiriya via Kekirawa et Dambulla prend environ 1 heure 30 minutes, avec un arrêt au temple des grottes de Dambulla, un ensemble de cinq grottes comptant plus de 150 statues de Bouddha et des plafonds peints datant du 1er siècle avant notre ère. L'après-midi est libre pour grimper au Pidurangala, un rocher en face de Sigiriya avec vue sur la forteresse, ou pour la forteresse elle-même.

Jour 6 : La route vers Kandy via Dambulla et Matale prend environ 2 heures 30 minutes, avec un arrêt dans un jardin d'épices à Matale pour voir pousser cannelle, poivre et cardamome. Le temple de la Dent sacrée accueille sa puja du soir.

Temple of the Tooth Relic
