Circuit Sri Lanka en 7 jours : Sigiriya, Kandy et Mirissa en douceur
Les sites classiques à un rythme tranquille, avec deux nuits de plage sans horaire à Mirissa en pleine saison des baleines.Un premier passage par les sites essentiels, puis le rythme ralentit. Une nuit chacune à Sigiriya, Kandy et Nuwara Eliya suffit pour la forteresse, le temple de la Dent sacrée et une plantation de thé, sans repasser deux fois par la même route. Après un safari en jeep à Udawalawe, les deux dernières nuits se passent à Mirissa, où le seul rendez-vous à ne pas manquer est une sortie en bateau à l'aube pour observer les baleines, de novembre à avril.

Sigiriya
Jour 1 : Atterrissage à l'aéroport de Bandaranaike, puis route vers Sigiriya, une citadelle rocheuse de 200 mètres qui domine la jungle, construite comme palais royal au 5e siècle (environ 5 heures via Kurunegala et Dambulla, avec un arrêt déjeuner). Installation pour la nuit.

Temple of the Tooth Relic
Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy houses a tooth relic of the Buddha and has been the most sacred Buddhist site in Sri Lanka since the 4th century AD.
Udawattakele Forest Reserve

Nuwara Eliya
Jour 3 : Une matinée tranquille au jardin botanique royal de Peradeniya, environ 59 hectares de bambous géants et de serres à orchidées, avant la montée vers Nuwara Eliya, ancienne station d'altitude britannique à 1 868 mètres au milieu des plantations de thé (environ 2 h 45 par les cascades du col de Ramboda). Udawalawe
Jour 4 : Une matinée libre entre les plantations de thé ou une sortie en barque sur le lac Gregory, puis la route vers Udawalawe (environ 4 h 45, par la ville de collines d'Ella et le carrefour de Wellawaya). L'après-midi est libre au lodge, avec en option un safari en jeep pour les éléphants sauvages qui font la réputation du parc national d'Udawalawe.

Jour 5 : Mirissa, ville balnéaire à la baie incurvée sur la côte sud, est la destination du jour (environ 2 heures par la A18 jusqu'à Angunakolapelessa, puis l'autoroute du Sud). Installation pour deux journées de plage sans programme.

Parrot Rock (Mirissa)
A large flat-topped rock at the eastern end of Mirissa Bay, reachable by a short swim at low tide, popular for cliff jumping into 5m water below.
Coconut Tree Hill (Mirissa)
A small rocky headland east of Mirissa beach planted with tall coconut palms, offering a 270-degree ocean panorama 20m above the water — one of Sri Lanka's most photographed viewpoints.
Mirissa Beach
A 1km crescent bay 150km south of Colombo, Sri Lanka's primary departure point for blue whale watching (November to April), with a calm swimming beach and a growing restaurant scene.
