Couple looking over a Sri Lankan tea plantation

Relaxed Pace route · November to April

Sri Lanka Itinerary: 7 Days - Relaxed Sigiriya, Kandy and Mirissa

One pass through the essentials, then the pace drops. Single nights at Sigiriya, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya cover the fortress, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth and a tea estate without a single repeated road. After a jeep safari at Udawalawe, the last two nights sit still at Mirissa, where the only fixed appointment worth keeping is a dawn whale boat between November and April.
