Sri Lanka Itinerary: 10 Days - Yala Safari Classic

For visitors who will not leave without Yala. The trip runs the familiar arc through Sigiriya, Kandy, the tea country and Ella, then drops to Tissamaharama for two days of game drives; Yala's leopards are famously indifferent to jeeps, which is exactly what you want for photographs. Mirissa's beach and whale boats take the last two nights. Travelling in September or early October? Check with us first: Yala's main blocks close annually for maintenance and the exact dates shift each year.
